The steel sector is subdivided, in turn, into a series of subsectors. Its core is the production and transformation of steel, which in turn is supplied with a series of raw materials.

SIDEREX has succeeded in bringing relevant agents from the entire value chain of the sector into the cluster and the activity of SIDEREX companies is dispersed in different subsectors that can be positioned in the general value chain of the sector. The analysis of the chains reveals a certain potential for collaboration between SIDEREX companies, although there are limitations in some cases.
