What is Siderex
Siderex is a nonprofit steel cluster association created in 1996. Our objective is to improve the competitiveness in the steel industry through cooperative actions between businesses and technological innovation. We also protect the business interests of our associated partners.
Siderex assembles the key businesses of the value chain in the steel sector of carbon, stainless and alloy steel mills, steel processors to engineering & equipment manufacturers, spare parts, components, raw materials, service companies for steel plants and representatives of the Basque network in Science, Technology, and Innovation.
In response to the challenges of the steel industry, Siderex promotes cooperation between the representatives of the cluster association, fostering collaboration and participation by joining forces and other representatives. In this way we provide a complete portfolio in the areas of technology, management improvement, and external promotion.
Our offices are located in the Basque Country (Spain), where we are partners in the Agex group (AGRAGEX, FUNDIGEX, MAFEX, SIDEREX). Our team comprises more than 20 employees.
