SAFELOC SYSTEMS preparing the passport

Gains traction in the domestic market as a preliminary step toward international expansion in 2026, with a focus on Europe, Mexico, and the United States.

Safeloc Systems, a spin-off from the Ceit technology center, is strengthening its position in the domestic market with strong traction for its advanced real-time location systems for people and assets. This progress is being driven by the execution of key projects this year, as the company prepares for international expansion in 2026. These two pillars will shape its roadmap over the next two years.

Based on Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology, developed together with its technology partner Ceit over the past 15 years, Safeloc designs solutions to reduce operator exposure to risk through traceability systems for tracking the location of people, machines, vehicles, and assets in industrial environments, facilitating internal operations.

As CEO Pablo Muntaner explained to this newspaper, in 2025 the company’s strategy will focus on consolidating its activity in the Spanish market as a provider of industrial safety solutions in demanding environments—specifically steelworks, metallurgy, aerospace, and shipbuilding, among others—while also deploying its technology through integrators in sectors such as logistics parks, retail, manufacturing, food, and automotive. “These are a cornerstone of the scalability we anticipate, and of major clients in the heavy industry sector,” he said.

Along these lines, Safeloc’s portfolio includes key projects such as the development of a disruptive solution for a globally relevant automotive OEM, aimed at preventing numerous accidents in a specific use case. This work is being carried out in parallel with the implementation of a safety solution for a globally renowned company in daily loading and unloading operations, with expectations for scaling within the client.

As its technology evolves, it has demonstrated unmatched accuracy in complex industrial environments characterized by electromagnetic interference, low visibility, and high metal density achieving precision up to 10 cm, where other signals perform far worse.

Safeloc is also collaborating with an integrator on a vehicle traceability solution and highly precise man-machine communication system to prevent collisions. In addition, it is working on a productivity improvement project in plant operations and will soon begin a project for a multinational energy company

International Expansion

The company is finalizing the details of its international expansion, scheduled for 2026, with a focus on Europe, where it is preparing to access European projects such as Eurostars and the EIC Accelerator, while also solidifying its commercial agent model in Mexico. The company already has a foothold in the country, having sparked interest from major steel groups, and is targeting the United States as another key market in its plan.

The start of the required processes for safety certification and operational capability in explosive atmospheres will also pave the way for Safeloc’s entry into other markets such as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, and Petrochemicals.

Safeloc Systems has succeeded in creating a signal with robustness and security.
