Discover How to Boost Your SME’s Competitiveness with Startups

The Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government, through SPRI, has launched the fifth edition of its BIND SME initiative. This program is aimed at Basque SMEs, helping them enhance their business competitiveness through collaboration with disruptive startups from around the world.

Applications are open until July 4.

To help you better understand this initiative, SPRI is organizing a one-hour online session, where concrete cases of collaboration between SMEs and startups will be shared, along with the benefits they’ve achieved.

Thanks to this initiative, selected SMEs will gain access to innovative and disruptive talent and technologies offered by startups, enabling them to find tailored solutions for their specific needs.

Once the SMEs are selected in this call, a new call will open in October, inviting startups to submit proposals aligned with the needs previously defined by the SMEs. The goal is to launch the collaborative projects in February 2026.
